Élise & Michaël Duchemann

Argenton-sur-Creuse / Fougères

In 2013, Élise & Michaël planted the Berry-sud church with Perspectives in Argenton-sur-Creuse, in the central region of France. Since then, they've been blessed with 4 children and the family is now preparing to move to Fougères in 2023 to start a new church plant. Michaël & Élise will continue to be the pastoral couple at the Berry-sud Church, going back in person one weekend per month and also using online technology to provide support. Their hope is that this approach to pastoral ministry will prove appropriate for a church in a small rural community. Élise & Michaël's aim is to plant churches where well-functioning Home Groups will mean that the presence of a pastoral couple is not always required. Élise also supports church-plant teams for Perspectives in the northwest of France, helps lead the Church-Planting Committee of the CNEF (National Council of French Evangelicals), and is a member of the SEOFI (Session d'Évaluation et d'Orientation pour Futurs Implanteurs d'Églises) team which works to raise up future church planters.
